"free and easy"

19世紀半ば、ロンドンで働く労働者の娯楽のなかに音楽があった。
彼らは余暇をサルーンやフリーアンドイージーと呼ばれるパブ併設の施設で鑑賞し楽しんだ。
いわゆる、ミュージックホールの由来である。
今回のコレクションはそのフリーアンドイージーに集まる労働者を中心とした人々をテーマに上げて展開している。
ツナギアイテム、ラフに編まれた素材、どこか寄れた素材感のあるセットアップ。
そこに集まる人々を今の時代に重ねて表現したコレクションになっている。

Free and Easy

In the middle of 19th century, the workers of London turned to music as a brief escape from the days hard labour.
After work, they enjoyed listening to music at their local pub.
One such pub was the Free and Easy.
This is the origin of the music hall.
This collection is a modern expression of the workaers who came together throuh music at the Free and Easy, using roughly woven fabrics with a comfortable, worn in feel.
