The Circus

Astley Royal Amphitheatre was built by Philip Astley, known as a father of the modern circus, after his spell in the Army.
This collection focuses on the costumes of the Astley Royal’s performers. These costumes are designed with the decoration to entertain the audience as well as the functionality to facilitate the performance.
